The powerhouse known simply as Beyonce, has joined the ranks of amazing Black women who are un-apologetically slaying September covers, along with making history like that of Idris Elba. You will be able to spot the musical icon on the cover of Vogue’s always highly-anticipated Fall fashion issue.
Although this is not Bey’s first time on the cover of the top of the tier fashion magazine, it is, however, her first time on this specific issue, which makes her the first African-American female musician to be featured.
Initially, word of this was only a rumor after a fan-page leaked an image of the cover. Ultimately, fans were relieved when Vogue confirmed that the rumors were true via Instagram.
“Just B. Beyonce and the Art of Global Domination” is the tagline cover for the issue and it couldn’t be more fitting. Through the years, Beyonce has been nothing less than an extreme influence on music and pop-culture. Through her career, the mega-star has sold 15.8 million albums in the United States alone. And lets not even get started on her earnings from world tours. She even has her own "Beyhive". A mob of adoring fans who are extremely loyal to the Queen Bey.
Described as “the total package”, Beyonce stuns us all as she serves a sultry look in a very-detailed Marc Jacobs dress along with her wet and wavy hair. It’s definitely giving a little “Drunk in Love” with a chic twist. Within the pages of her spread, shot by renowned fashion photographer, Mario Testino, you will find Beyonce serving the only way she knows how… flawlessly.
You can get your hands on a copy when it releases on newsstands August 25.
