Draya To Walk Away From 'Basketball Wives LA'

Basketball Wives LA star Draya Michele recently announced that she will not be returning to the show after four seasons.

During a visit to Big Boy In The Morning, Draya shared that while she is no longer interested in being part of the Basketball Wives franchise any longer, she would be open to her own spin-off show. She told Big Boy, “It would have to be really, really right and based on my businesses and positive stuff. I’m just not really interested in having me, my love life, my family on T.V. anymore.”

Aside from her starring on the reality show, Draya has found much success from her chic swimsuit line, Mint Swim and urban fashion line, Fine Ass Girls. Draya has also tried her hand in acting in  the recent TV One original film, Will To Love where she starred alongside Marques Houston and Keshia Knight-Pulliam.

While some fans may be saddened that Draya has decided to make this move, who can blame her for wanting to escape the throwing of drinks, gossip, petty arguments and endless shade. Draya has certainly grown exponentially since we were first introduced to her. With growth comes change.

Will you continue to watch the show after Draya departs? Do you feel it will survive? The even bigger question is, who will replace her?

You can catch Draya on 'Basketball Wives LA' Sundays at 9/8c on VH-1.
