You're Worthy

“You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body   and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!  Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.  You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born.  Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God.They cannot be numbered!”  Psalm 139:13-17

Girl, don’t you know how precious you are in the eyes of God? Even if you don’t, I want to help you to see.

Take a look at the verse above. Before your mother even felt your presence in her stomach, God knew who you were. He fashioned you piece by piece from your hair type to the size of your foot. Through His omniscience, He also mapped out the plan for your life. A plan filled with joy, success, and real love. However, even with that perfect plan there was still much room for mistakes to happen.

Free will is easier to act on than following the ways of God. We see it every day. In the #HurtBae phenomenon that recently hit social media, we can see that the beautiful young woman sitting opposite of the not-so-great guy was a victim of mistake. God has a plan for her life, but I highly doubt that His perfect will included him.

God cares for us so much that His thoughts toward us can’t even be measured. So why would He allow us to be in any situation where we would be harmed? And that goes for mentally, physically, and emotionally. If God is love, then why would the love He gives us through another person be painful?

God doesn’t contradict Himself and He never will. So that’s the point where we have to seriously evaluate and ask ourselves, “is this God?” Look at the circumstances. Our loving Father wouldn’t take all of this time to make us who we are from looks to personality just to throw some random, half-baked person at us. What sense would that make? God created us in His perfect image. We are His best, therefore He’s going to continue to deliver the best in our lives.

Know what you’re worth. Being betrayed, disrespected, and abused is not at all in God’s plan for you. Anyone who offers that to you is not part of the program. Wake up, sis. You are MARVELOUS and WONDERFULLY COMPLEX. There’s no one else on this earth like you. You are an irreplaceable masterpiece who is a daughter of the Most High King. Don’t let a man’s looks, money or persuasion cause you to think otherwise.

You are the best and will have the best. Any man unwilling to see that is not worthy of you. But YOU alone are worthy indeed.
