Welcome to episode 6 of Zealous Conversations with Taylor Jay! This is a podcast that encourages all listeners to shine the light and the standard as believers in Christ.
This week is a special one as I welcome my very first guest, Ms. Tatum Harrison of the Blessed and Bossed Up Podcast, formerly known as the Black Girl Boss Podcast! Tatum (also known as Tatum Temia) is a marketing consultant who assists entrepreneurs and small businesses with developing innovative and strategic plans of action that grows their businesses, as well as, personal and professional brands.
As she grew in her relationship with God in her personal life, she realized he wanted (and needed) to be the CEO of her business as well. She decided to be obedient to the new direction God was taking her in and now uses her influence and platform to show entrepreneurs how to live the Blessed and Bossed Up life through making God the CEO of their business.
In our conversation, Tatum and I discuss the importance of putting God first in business/entrepreneurship and how her faith journey led her to making that decision. We also discuss what it can look like to hear from God and how it can lead to success. Tatum also introduces her “God is my CEO” prayer journal that is perfect for those who are either new to the faith and need guidance, or someone who simply wants to keep Jesus at the center of it all.
One of the biggest takeaways, is that you can love God and not be “churchy”. You can be fly, blessed and bossed up!
