New Job. New City. New Life.

I'm SO pleased to share that 33 days ago I made the biggest life decision to date.

I packed up my things and moved to Central Virginia to pursue my lifelong dream. I accepted a position as a digital content producer at an ABC news affiliate!

I'm now a single girl in my own world following my one and only career aspiration... to be a journalist. For as long as I can remember, this is what I've wanted. From the morning announcements in middle school to receiving my degree from University of Maryland, the Lord was faithful to me.

This is only the beginning. My foot is in the door and now I have every desire to climb my way to the anchor chair.

I do miss the city life, but I'm so very thrilled to be on this new adventure with God and those He brings along my path.

Single Saved and Social: Conversations in the City (Brunch Edition)

All signs pointed to Baltimore as Jennifer Trotter and Cheston Green hosted their second Single Saved and Social event. But this time... we had brunch! I had the pleasure of once again serving as the media correspondent for this culture-changing movement.

Chatting with panelist, Tyra Roberts

The topics for the day centered around the Hill Harper book, The Conversation: How Men and Women Can Build Loving, Trusting Relationships. The discussion was dynamic as both men and women pitched in to share their opinions and refutations related to Christian dating in today's society.

Who wouldn't want to have a dope chat over good food?!

Getting camera ready!

College Day at Ark of Safety Christian Church

The awesome panel!

It brought me great pleasure to be invited to share wisdom with middle and high school students who are interested in attending college. My fellow panelists and I shared the good, the bad, and the not so wonderful realities that come with that chapter of life. I find it important to pay it forward in sharing insight so that the next generation can be best prepared for the future.

More than anything, I want to see others succeed and make the right choices.

And lastly... go Terps!
